Born in Hyogo, Japan. 

Taka studied filmmaking at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA, where he went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production.

Upon graduation, he joins a major production company in Tokyo, Japan, where he gains 4 years of experience as a production manager on numerous TV commercials, web videos, music videos, etc. for major corporations such as Pizza Hut and LOTTE.

While working as a production manager, Taka fulfills his true passion by directing his second short film, which gets nominated for the SHIBUYA FILM AWARDS 2019.

After working for a major SNS company for 2 years, he currently works at a global ad agency while also doing freelance work on the side.

兵庫県生まれ。

幼少期を米・ワシントン州で5年間過ごし、帰国後は大阪のインターナショナルスクールに入学。

米・ロサンゼルスのロヨラ・メリーマウント大学にて映画制作を専攻後、日本の大手映像制作会社に入社。一年目にしてメインのプロダクションマネージャーとしてデビューし、新人賞を受賞。

数々のTVCM・WEBムービー・MVの制作に努めながら、監督として2作目となる短編映画を制作し、SHIBUYA FILM AWARDS 2019を含む2つの映画祭への入選を果たす。

大手外資系SNS企業にて2年間の経験を積んだ後、現在は外資系広告代理店に勤めながらフリーランスの映像ディレクターとして活動している。
